Am I ignorant?
My brain is ticking.
I want to question, i want answers.

I feel depressed.
My stomach is sick.
I want to cry, but I won't.

I feel anger.
My face is white.
I want to scream, but I can't.

I thought we were friends, but now I am unsure. I have grown up to believe this as a big deal. Something important, and I thought the same for you.

Maybe I was wrong? For how long has it been like this for you?

I know none of you will read this. I feel that if I don't get this off my chest, "There is a fire inside of this heart...about to explode into flames".

All I want is something, or someone, to distract me from the pain.

Every post, all I seem to do is promise that I will start to blog more; however, it never seems to happen. Instead this time i will not promise. So let's just see how it goes, because without the promises you can't be let down. There is no chance of rejection.

I wish that I didn't know about these things; didn't see them everywhere, everyday; didn't know the meaning of them. That way I wouldn't know what I'm missing out on. Knowing what my life lacks. I know it's a cliche, but it is the hole in me. A hole which I wish I could fill.

So. It has been a busy month since my last (rather uninteresting) post.
However! The (dreaded) exams are over, and I am free to continue blogging. Hopefully I will be starting to blog more often, as I wished to when I started.

I haven't posted anything for a while now, mainly because of the amount of study I have been doing this week. So, I thought I should make a new post (instead of doing history homework, which I'm sure I will do later).

Recently I was reading an essay, "Why Capitalism is good for the soul", and to be honest I did not finish it because of its rather lengthy nature. However, I finally found someone, Peter Saunders, who can articulate what I have been thinking for a while now.

My thoughts:
Capitalism lacks the romantic appeal which is successfully implemented in other ideologies, such as socialism, communism and fascism.
As much as I believe that Capitalism is the best option for sustaining a free and successful country/world I find it irksome. There is nothing exciting and blood stirring about going to school or work everyday the same way for your entire life.

Like my history teacher has told me many times, Communism looks great but only works on paper. Thus in practice fails to deliver the goods, which can be seen in countries such as Russia, China, Korea/North Korea and Vietnam/North Vietnam. However, in Vietnam's defence their conflict was not communists fault alone, but that is another story.

Now to be true, my views could be biased, and I am open to that fact. I have grown up reading about both sides, but have any really witnessed a capitalist society. I have never lived in North Korea, Russia or China where I believe many people would praise their leaders and communist ideals. However, is this their true beliefs or just the end result of brainwashing in an oppressed and corrupt country?

Back to the essay now I would like to quote a few lines which I found the most thought provoking:

Welcome to the commencement of my very own blog!

I am not exactly sure why I decided to start this blog, but then again, why not?
Most likely I’m just being a ‘sheep’, creating one merely because everyone else is, but who cares? If no one wants to read my blog I have no problem with that, but if you do then thank you!

If you continue to read my blog in the future, most likely you will find it to be filled with my thoughts rather than my actions. If people were interesting in what I did everyday I would have an up-to-date twitter, but that takes far too much dedication. It will also contain my views on political philosophy and ideologies, because these are topics I do think about quite often, just because it fascinates me. I do enjoy thinking about and discussing different political views. On that note, feel free to disagree with my ideas as I am open to the consideration of other views.

That is all I have to say for now, really. I just hope my blog will help to illustrate my personal views on everyday life and issues, and maybe some moments for me to look back on in the future.
